Or a variation of the above - the pump may not be powerful/on high enough to circulate the water in the new radiators. Could be that its gravity heating the rads rather than using the pumped water.

Thats exactly how I remove mine. Another way if space is tight is to use a Dremel or similar rotary tool to cut the groove. Takes seconds either way.

If there is a sink nearby you can buy an adapter for the waste trap so you can plumb the washing machine into the sink waste trap.

Sorry - I should have been more specific. The water pressure reading on the gauge on the front of the boiler - it will be measured in Bar Do you have any water escaping from the pressure relief valve (pipe usually going oustide the wall) ?

Well in my defence they weren't both in the same bathroom :lol: Had poly in my first house and plaster in my last house. Both were fine and covered a multitude of dodgy bits of plaster.

Probably the same reason they dont bother putting all the screws into the door hinges, fasten on the staircase properly etc etc.
