    Thanks for the most welcome advice.....I have a manual for the boiler which lists all of the parts, the Ravenheat part number for the timer is..... TH8272(371258) any ideas where I might find one, new or used that won't cost an arm and a leg.....cheers, Steve

    Hi Dave.....thanks for the reply. Yes, the boiler was left on but of course there was no power to it during the damned power cut, I have nothing to check the voltage with. By spiked, do you mean a surge or overload, causing the timer to burn out ? Any ideas where I might find a new timer ...
