What is the pressure guage reading on the front of the boiler, it may have ran dry and overheated. The pressure should read 1 - 1.5, if its not fill it upto this level. There is a red overheat reset on the top of the boiler, reset this and away you go.

end switch on the 3 port valve is faulty, or the valve is jammed in mid position not allowing the end switch to be made. remove the head of the valve and check the little spindle on the body is moving freely. If it is replace the valve head. Good luck.

Sure you have the correct size o ring, there are loads of different sized o rings on this boiler.

You sound like you have the correct idea, its a sealed system so not that much water will come out after you have cut the pipe, just have lots of olds towels near by and a couple of buckets. no harm in squirting in a new bottle of inhibitor to the system, before you fill back up, maybe only...

Only if its the PCB thats the fault.... can be lost of other things too ie Gas valve, APS, spark electrode or the lead.

Was the electrode checked as they can be wrongly positioned or cracked which could give a weak or no spark.

There is a modified PCB and ignition electrode for this boiler available as they had problems with lockout. Pump sticking intermittanly would be the next shout...easlily changed and a lot cheaper than a new PCB.

Is the pump working properly...could be running very sluggishly and not getting the water away from the boiler quick enough... or there could be a restriction some place... Which PCB do you have...does it have a square reset or a round one?? 1 led or 2??

The boiler is getting too hot for some reason!, it could be a faulty boiler thermostat or the overheat cut out or the pump overrun stat... there are 3 stats on this boiler and I would personally change all 3. It is also worth checking that there is not a jammed zone valve which is keeping...

The boiler may not have been commissioned properly and the min/max CO2 readings may be out causing problems, or a faulty component as suggested alternativley What size is the gas pipe to the boiler and how far does it run?? May be undersized???

Sticky pump first thing in the morning?? Gas valve?? could be iffy?? Had one go faulty and it was a swine to light but once it got going is was ok.... they are factory set so you cannot adjust the min and max settings like other boilers.

Have the cold feed and expansion pipes been cut out to check for blockages there?? Use a magnet where they T into the flow pipe?? A powerflush machine will never shift a proper blockage no matter what chemical is used..the blockage needs to be cut out and pipework cleaned or replaced.... and...
