    I would try some fibre glass to make an overlapping patch. Really clean and score the area then whack some resin and fibre glass on it in several layers (at least 3) then leave it to cure. Fixed my merc undertray.

    Local authorities have an agreement based on the number of street lights etc as to how much they would pay. Stretches back to when meters were the huge black boxes. Once meters became small enough to be included in street furniture and suppliers threatened to put one in each lamp post the LA...

    I too have a problem opening upstairs windows. As my young grandson said “I have no stairs”. I live in a bungalow. However the air con is working a treat. Went to a friends funereal today and fortunately the wake was on the cool side of the pub so plenty of drinks and no need to open the loft.
