I had a 2010 diesel as a company car. Loved it. Had a couple of limp modes occurring but relatively easily and cheaply solved. I had a power shift model, great car.
What sort of garage door do you have at the front and how will you access the garage if that door fails? Not a show stopper but worth thinking about before you block up both alternatives.
I have just given mine to my grandson who is 10. His dad got one for christmas so they can learn together, pass the test and grandson will be flying supervised. I’m too old to be learning new tricks with technology, besides he’ll love it.
I live on the Hampshire coast and the temp in my unheated garage rarely drops below 5 degrees. My outside tap has a frost cover but I dont lay awake at night wondering if its going to be okay. If you are in the house dont worry about it, surely you are not going to drain hot, cold and boiler...
Get a plumber to fit an outside tap. Connect the hose to your pressure washer, open the tap, pull the trigger of the pressure washer to expel any air. Turn on the pressure washer. Problem solved.

Try a liner under the slotted plate. Drain the fat etc into an old lemonade bottle, hot water and washing up liquid soaking whilst eating your grub, pour away then a good wash, leave upside down to drain. Stow away when dry.
I used to work with asbestos, walked through clouds of the stuff, before it was outlawed. I had a chest xray 30 years later with no signs of asbestosis. If you have breathed any in it wont show for years. Forget about it and move on with your life.
Good job you dont live next to me, I would be organising a protest, banners and blocking the road to the builders equipment.
The fence wont hold the soil back and any damage will be on you to make good. The builder is cutting corners and do you really want all that sub soil on top!
