Head replaced. Old one was siezed. A bit more water came out that i expected and panel underneath got caught with some water. Im assuming its sealed under there expecting to be hit with some water at some point....dont want to turn it on if its going to short it :(

:D I have one; just dont know what to do with it :D Hit my first problem when I opened the box....the exisiting pump has a pipe running from the pump into the expansion vessel but the new pump doesnt have a connector for the pipe to go into?? Does this mean I can only replace the head...

Yeah, got one not far; I didnt think they'd stock boiler pumps. That could be a great shout. If they have it, I got £50 voucher from my work the other week that I could use in there. Its a Bosch 15-60(8-716-106-849-0) that in it just now if they dont have the exact same is there a way to easly...

Thanks for replying Picasso. Sorry, could you elaborate slightly on the voltage to the pump part? Is this possible via a visual test i.e. something moving in the pump or do you mean a voltmeter check? Sorry if im sounding like a dumbass; I prob' am :D
