5% Discount on orders over £50 at Screwfix until midday 11/5

Just FYI -- I tried this, and it didn't work. No 5% discount appeared either on the order, or on my bill.

ready mixed or mix up your own filler.

The best stuff I have tried is the light-as-air readymixed marshmallowy stuff...can't think what it's called now. It is by far the easiest and most usable filler I have ever tried -- I wouldn't use anything else ever again, regardless of the cost.

ADVICE SOUGHT FOR EXTERIOR WALL PAINT

Have you tried or considered textured masonry paint? This will deal with hairline cracks, but not sure if it's enough for your problem.

I did glorious marble tiles in my last bathroom, and would never do it again! There may be some kind of sealant you can use, but I couldn't find one at the time.

    Painting tongue-and-groove loft ceiling

I am trying to sort out the best/easiest way to paint the tongue-and-groove ceiling in my new loft room. It's a 5m by 5m room, pitched ceiling, and the tongue and groove boarding appears to have been stained a medium dark brown, and not varnished. I am planning to paint the ceiling antique...
