Anyone heard of or used the Aqua Bion water softener?

I can back up Aquabion in the results. I have taken on a service contract looking after a Rinnai HD50i water heater. The company that originally installed the unit, did so without a water softener in a hard water area.  18 months later, the heat exchanger gave in to scale...

Polypipe vs copper for CH plumbing

8 pages of sh1te!!!!!! If you've got nothing useful to say stop wasting our time and start a thread called Dan Robinson vs Norcon. I've seen Norcon's comments in the past and I have no respect for the halfwit (compliment). As for Dan, your a smart fella but all your doing is dragging...

Polypipe vs copper for CH plumbing

Personally I don't entertain plastic pipe for CH. Copper all the way, properly clipped, thoroughly flushed out and correctly dosed with inhibitor. Builders prefer plastic pipe as a lot only use a blow lamp for burning rubbish. James.

Reliable and good value condensing boiler please

You're right it's not difficult for a professional to give their advice, so here is mine. My first choice is Intergas. Dan is also correct that it's not difficult to use the search function. He is usually very helpful but it could be that time of the month for him. James.

I followed AlexCarp on a job where he'd installed a basin straight into a 6" waste pipe!   James. P.s. AlexCarp, where do you purchase your horses and Stetsons from?

Commercial Boiler fitted in a house?

FFS guys it's simple!!!! Keep the boiler! Build an outdoor swimming pool heated by the boiler and tap into next doors heating, I think they would appreciate it. Would have been better if it was a 40kW Intergas. James.

    intergas, bosch or neither?

But Viessmann don't rely on service agents (who try and poach customers, been there with previous employers). At the moment anyway, Viessmann prefer installers to service their own work, that is one good thing about them. James.
