Probably not ,see how it goes. What is the gauge / pressure reading now ? I suspect it may need topping up.

Tap on the dial with your finger nail several times ,see if the pointer moves.

Show us a picture of the pressure gauge / dial.

Close your mains cold water stopcock as well. Tell us the result

Continue draining water out of the system ,preferably from a drain cock.

Yes ,will only work when central heating is on. If you don't want that rad to heat up ,you only need to close one valve ( either one would do )

Apologies, left out the word anti ( got distracted). Both should be anti clockwise.

Both valves opened anti clockwise should allow the radiator to heat up. Have you bled that radiator of air ? Looks like it is part of your central heating system and not dual fuel.

If tightening the joint where the supply pipe enters the valve doesn't stop the leak ,it will need taking apart to sort it out. Plumbers mait is wholly useless for using as you suggest ,as is denso tape. A picture of the joint may be helpful.

As long as you are not cross threading the plastic nut ,it's highly unlikely that 2 traps are the problem . The trap should screw on easily. You may have a European waste fitting that is not a BSP thread. ******* Edit ,just seen your added pics ,and it's now obvious that the inner diameter of...

Looks fairly standard to me too. Is the seal in the trap in good condition ?

As above ,try to tighten the nut on the left hand side

There is a rubber seal missing from that compression fitting. Is it inside the elbow ?

Is your mains cold water stopcock fully open ? What is the flow rate from your kitchens cold tap ( how many litres of cold water do you get from it if you time it running fully for 1 minute)?
