Sorry for delay and image quality. As you can see from 1st image, there is a small gap between the cold handle and the body of the tap. The screw in the second image is breaking when using a screwdriver and won't budge. Cheers

As above, when using other taps the mixer tap in tge kitchen squeaks and leaks. It does stop when the other taps are off or when I give the cold side a little nudge. Now i tried to take out the valve but the screw started to break and i don't think it will loosen without breaking the head off...

Cheers for replies guys, gave up and ended up ordering new shower bar, also realised that the metal filters/gauze around the cartridge was also off. Once the new one is up and running (hopefully) i'll try again.
