Only sweeping it and walking on it in thick socks is exactly what I've been doing. It's terrible. I don't know what to do. I'm writing a complaint to the company but unlikely it's going to help. I feel it's been falsely advertised by them.

I think their argument is going to be that laminate is synthetic but the top layer of this is real wood. But it's obviously not engineered as they have described it either.

Would you still call it laminate even though the top layer is real wood, despite it being so thin?

Had this flooring installed. It's basically rubbish, chipping, marking etc. after two weeks. It was advertised as engineered wood by the company I bought it from. People have now told me it is not engineered wood due to it's composition. I knew it was thinner than good quality engineered wood...

Thanks for replies. Yeah unfortunately it's not possible to get a floating pedestal as waste comes out of the floor. Maybe a vanity unit is a good option.

I know it's so shoddy. I would get him to re-do the tile but it would mean getting the plumber to take the basin out again and it cost me almost £100 just for the plumber to do that. Unfortunately it was my husband who was home at the time who just accepted his word that it's the best he could...

I just got LVT in my bathrooms. I wanted it to be neat with no sealant so got a plumber to remove toilet and basin pedestal so that the floor can go underneath. However, my floor fitter has done a terrible job behind the basin and this is visible. See photos. Looking for ideas to fix/ cover...

Thanks, the pattern isn't really affected at all it's just the PVC bit if that's what the material is.
