Would you call this engineered wood?

@Tigercubrider it compares it to a "traditional engineered wood floor" but I feel the retailer will probably say it's some form of engineered floor as it doesn't say otherwise, but worth a try

Would you call this engineered wood?

@Tigercubrider yeah I would agree but where about on the manufacturer website does it say it's not? The closest I can find is "Our Titanium finished wood in combination with a core out of high density fibre board (HDF), makes your floor stronger and more dimensionally stable than any traditional...

Would you call this engineered wood?

Only sweeping it and walking on it in thick socks is exactly what I've been doing. It's terrible. I don't know what to do. I'm writing a complaint to the company but unlikely it's going to help. I feel it's been falsely advertised by them.

Would you call this engineered wood?

I think their argument is going to be that laminate is synthetic but the top layer of this is real wood. But it's obviously not engineered as they have described it either.

Would you call this engineered wood?

Would you still call it laminate even though the top layer is real wood, despite it being so thin?

Would you call this engineered wood?

Had this flooring installed. It's basically rubbish, chipping, marking etc. after two weeks. It was advertised as engineered wood by the company I bought it from. People have now told me it is not engineered wood due to it's composition. I knew it was thinner than good quality engineered wood...

How to fix this gap in vinyl floor

Thanks all. Vanity unit may be the way to go. This floor fitter is not getting a good review!

Is it possible to get a basin pedestal which will go all the way up to the wall?

Thanks for replies. Yeah unfortunately it's not possible to get a floating pedestal as waste comes out of the floor. Maybe a vanity unit is a good option.

How to fix this gap in vinyl floor

I know it's so shoddy. I would get him to re-do the tile but it would mean getting the plumber to take the basin out again and it cost me almost £100 just for the plumber to do that. Unfortunately it was my husband who was home at the time who just accepted his word that it's the best he could...

How to fix this gap in vinyl floor

I just got LVT in my bathrooms. I wanted it to be neat with no sealant so got a plumber to remove toilet and basin pedestal so that the floor can go underneath. However, my floor fitter has done a terrible job behind the basin and this is visible. See photos. Looking for ideas to fix/ cover...

Really bad quality engineered wood - how can I protect it?

I know! It's ridiculous. It really seems like it's barely lacquered at all. I've contacted the company but they don't have much to say about it. This is a photo of it on my floor. A bit difficult to tell from the photo but I think you can make out that it looks generally dirty and that is with...

How to fix this tiny chip in edge of worktop?

Brand new home, husband hits my heavy mixer off the edge of the brand new worktop! Luckily there is only the tiniest chip, probably about 1-2mm on the edge. Any ideas how I can get this fixed. The worktop is laminate but it doesn't affect the laminate, only the edge bit which feels more...

Can this garden be levelled out or would it interfere with DPC?

Guys, just been to the house and had a closer look... so it actually looks like this! I thought the grass was all the way up to the wall but no. Also the air brick isn't directly on the ground. There is one brick below it. Is this acceptable? Pretty much every house in the development is like...
