    Shed power/lash up

should be OK on a fused spur. just make sure the FCU is DP, just so if there is a fault you can easily isolate it from the house wiring (even more important if you have RCD's in the house)

    smoke alarms

personally, i always put smoke alarms on with lights, but you can put them on their own if you want to (it also wastes a CU slot...)

    Adding a second CU

split the tails is the best way to do it, but you either have to work live puttin a cable into a henly (NOT recommended for DIYers and people with little knowledge) or ask the DNO (some charge) to install an isolator, so you can then put cables into henly to split the in safety. your sparky will...

    Shed power/lash up

you can take it as a fused spur. but it mostly depends on what your using. if its only a few lights and maybe a small power tool, then FCU should be OK, if its for a large compressor/welder etc then it should have its own supply. great thing about part P is they charge you if you make your...

TV Booster Powered from Lighting Circuit

lighting circuits are normally fed from a 6A MCB so there isnt too much of a problem, but a 3A FCU should still have been used

DNO supplied isolator , only one pole used.

double pole are usually fitted, but aslong as the phase is switched, there shouldnt be too much of a problem

    lights

i dont want any extra lights on the car, so what i wanted was a 2part bulb instead. use 1 part as normal, and have the other parts switched thru relay so i can decide if i want to use them or not. if im drivin around town, well lit, all i need is the 2 normal powered lights. drivin down a...

    Ever done a runner?

if i get a taxi to mine, they often try to go the longer way, which adds 50P onto the trip. have stopped them from doin that many times, but if they do go that way i knock 50P off, since i wanted to get from A to B, not via C (and pay for it)

    electric storage heaters

yes, they add a second meter, with timer (so it only give power during cheap times). if you get a 2nd meter, this will feed the CU for heaters
