Supply for utility room from upstairs ringmain + a further question

You can still buy rbo's for the board. You have not actually added any circuits ? You have moved a socket and replaced a damaged one. If you add a circuit or a socket the addition should have RCD protection. DS

Don't use MK ! Hager, or BG, If on a budget. You don't need 2.5mm for your boiler or alarm The separate circuit for the freezer is a good idea. Install 2 single sockets instead of a double if you have a TD and WM in the same location. If the external socket is fed from ring, add a DP switch...

    DIY chandelier junction box advice

Electrically its fairly straightforward, there will be a join box in the centre where all the tails to the individual lights connect to a single supply cable. You can use a single 1g 25mm box and a blank plate as your join box. DS

Supply for utility room from upstairs ringmain + a further question

Don't be sorry about asking, that's the point of this site. :) It is not best practice to have all the sockets on one RCD. To avoid complete loss of power, and makes it easier to find a fault, it is advised that the circuits are protected by two separate RCD's. DS
