    F23 error Vaillant EcoTec Plus

We have a pump next to the HWC that powers the showers, a stuart turner, could that also be doing the ufh? There are also a couple of small white boxes that occasionally whirr, are they pumps? There is nothing obvious to me in the airing cupboard (or anywhere else come to that) that screams ufh.

    wall hung toilets...

are they as good as the pedestal versions? a plumber told us they are difficult to install and that even the best fitted ones will still move a little over time due to users weight pulling them away from the wall. Is this true? Am i better of going for a good old pedestal one? Thanks.

Hi A plumber has recommended we get an electronic water softner. Are they really any good? We used to have one of those little £15 ones attached to a pipe and it seemed like a complete waste of space/money. He says there are now new ones designed to effect the whole house. Is it worth...

    choosing a water softner

Hi We live in a hard water area and have been recommended to get a water softner fitted. Are there any negatives to getting one of these fitted? Whats a good brand? Do water softners stop those annoying water marks from being left all over the bathroom (ie on shower door, taps...)? Thanks
