Have you considered zinc or stainless steel. It's the modern day equivalent to lead and is being used on churches where the lead has been stolen. It will also last a lifetime. :mrgreen:

Hi, the detail on the zinc roof looks odd. Are there joins in the flat sections? If so are they soldered or lapped? The zinc sheets should be in one length with no joins. We have seen this before especially in London. I wonder if you could check the pitch for me? The zinc sheet...
