The pump is within the WB boiler itself. There are no LEDs on the boiler, just a single light.

Have had a third party heating engineer pop round to investigate plus also been in touch with Gledhill Technical Support. Both have said exactly what you have said. Many thanks! Out of interest, why would a flow valve be on the return, rather than the feed into the cylinder coil?

Been flushed through plus system is new from Feb 2025. Also, would have been drained when recent cylinder was installed 2 weeks ago.

Thanks. Yes, it's an unvented system with an expansion vessel in the same downstairs cupboard as the boiler. Not sure of the make and model.

It's looking like the issue was the lever on the diverter valve actuator was catching on the foam around the cylinder. He's cut the foam back now, so hopefully that will help.
