Where did you sit your CCN1 this is a basic control covered on this and CKR1. I am assuming you hold these qualifications. Personally I would not have changed the thermostat without checking the FFD.

Excellent advice get the job placement first, you will need a minimum of 70 days gas experience all documented before you are eligable to sit an ACS exam (40 days if cookers only).

Just like everything else in life ie Fuel etc. As a previous poster pointed out it costs us RGI's to keep our qualifications up to date, PL insurance, CORGI membership etc. When you take all of those things plus keeping a van on the road you start to realise why these jobs don't get done...
