    Why not use one receiver feeding the two boilers? You can fit triple pole switches to the boilers if your worried about isolation.

    Ashley J501 junctions can be pulled through the holes you drill for the downlighters. Meaning you don't need anymore junctions, or miles of cable running up the cupboard.

    Pefectly fine. Some PIR's have a force on facility, so if you flick the switch on and off a few times it will come on regardless.

    You must have an awful lot of lighting on that circuit. Do you only have one circuit covering your property? Flat/semi/terraced? What about changing some bulbs for low energy version? Including your 400w flood light.

    You should really disconnect everything, and use an insulation resistance meter, which tests at 500v. This meter will damage electronic components etc, hence the reason for testing in isolation.

    Your immersion circuit should be a dedicated radial. Can you not take your feed from elsewhere?

    Three blacks are you neutral. Single red is your live, Green/yellow is your earth. Three Reds join together in a connector block.
