    leaking hose joints

If that doesn't work then try some PVC? tape (very thin white plasticy tape) round the threads you're connecting the hoses to.......available from all good plumbing outlets and B&Q

Have you check the fuse box? Has anything else stopped working? It possible the one light is connected to a different circuit so check all fuse/trip switches.

Plasma TV Wall Bracket To Cavity Wall

Hmmm, my next door neighbour had the same issue albeit with a 20" plasma. I know he sorted it in the end but as he works on the oil rigs I can't ask him for a couple of weeks........not much help I know but at least you know someone else has had a similar issue and solved it

To glue or not to glue

I'd agree with Jason but re the fence paint stuff you're thinking of using. This stuff weathers down too quickly (how many times do you see people re-painting their fences every 12 months or 2 years). I'd use something like the Ronseal wood stainer stuff that's guarantee'd 5 years (allegedly...

Automated Clothes Hanger (to dry clothes)

I would firstly think you'd have to be specific in the max weight you need the motor to drive. Are you sure wet jeans will be the heaviest object?, what about a soaking wet cardigan, heavy jumper even a single duvet??? Find and weigh the heaviest item then multiply up to ensure you've got...

    True meaning?

    in or out ?

Fillings and crowns don't last forever so £400 now and god knows how much in 10 or 15 years (if they last that long). If it's a molar then who's gonna see it anyway?. The only pain with having a tooth out is the injection, molars are easy to get out, try getting a wisdom tooth out...

    RIP Steve Irwin

    Sealing a Bath

Not being funny but could you not 1) do without a shower for a day or 2) have a shower at a friends or relatives. If you want to fix it then you really do need to do 'as exactly as it says on the tin' so to speak.

    Laying concrete floor

As it's only a small area and as such easier to get level then can you not just concrete anyway?, probably work out cheaper for 2 or 3 ready mixed bags from B&Q.

    replastering.

The costs can vary considerable depending on your area in the Uk, size of rooms, fully replastering or touching up in places (re-skimming), using a large company or some local guy doing it as a 'foreigner' etc etc Best to get a few quotes locally and then take an average.
