Just a thought, but did you nail or screw it down?, when I've had any creaking boards I've screwed them down rather than nailed, worked a treat !!!! :D

    laying floor

You can buy laminate floor laying kits from any good floor supplier (B&Q do them for around £10 I think). I prefer the click boards, no mess, perfect joins and SO easy to lay, initially some people struggle with 'em but once you've got the knack it's easy. You need to decide whether you're...

    PAINT REMOVAL ON WOODEN FLOORS

Strangely enough my wife left me with these to clean up the other day (women!!! ). I just used my finger nail to scrap 'em off once they had dried. a few questions about outdoor lighting

If it has a 13 amp plug attached then it's designed to be plugged into the mains not wired in directly. I've a few outdoor lights some with indoor (and some with outdoor) transformers. I prefer the outdoor transformers as it keeps the plug socket area tidy. I run a set of outdoor lights from...

    Gravity Fed Shower Problem

I hope I've posted this in the correct area, apologies if not. I have a Bristan Pisa gravity fed shower that has a complete mind of it's own as to what temperature it'll shower you. It's either cool, luke warm or red hot, it's seems to be a lottery as to which one it'll be. The hot...
