    Ah right, sorry, didn't realise it was on the worktop agree curtains are close to cooker but we never leave it unattended, use air fryer more than anything now. Thanks all for your replies.

    That's a 6" that's in now, just a little worried having another 6" drilled so close to the existing one. Unless I leave the liner in and pack it with brick/mortar?
