That's a 6" that's in now, just a little worried having another 6" drilled so close to the existing one. Unless I leave the liner in and pack it with brick/mortar?

Is there a way you can move this extractor hole over to the right so it's central for a cooker hood. Was thinking of filling the old hole in and have the kitchen fitters make a new one. Thanks in advance.

Would it be possible to chip out to brick, seal with SBR, fill with sand/cement mix, finish with filler?

Fire sits in open fireplace, plaster seems pretty sound around affected area, no other parts are affected.

Any idea what could be causing this on the plastered surface? It's gradually appeared over time. It's on a chimney breast wall which has no other issues. What's the best remedy to sort it? Thanks in advance
