dont get spark or gas until fan has presurised unit ,, might be a presure switch prob now a think but thanks for your thoughts

once fan has presurised that opens gas valve and automatic ignition kicks in

when u switch on boiler it switches on fan to presurise unit only then will the gas and ignition kick in .. i have had to replace fan before but fan working ok thought u might have any other ideas

hey guys did what was suggested last time on forum worked a treat for 3 days now wont fire up doin all the right noises just wont ignite and i have checked the fan works as this works gas release valve and ignition once pressure has been reached any clues

thanks cleaned tank filled system all toastie now

open vented with header tank ,, header tank is full and boiler kicks in for about 20 secs and then cuts off , i asume there is acut off switch in boiler so was going to flush system and re fill in case there is a blockage somewhere

tried bleeding all rads got a little air out of two but no water from any ,, help plz :cry:

boiler works now and again but keeps cutting out ,fan doesnt always kick in was going to try and flush complete system incase of blockage somewhere ,its an old ideal system ( any thoughts ) :cry:
