Hi, being a renault i think i know what the prob may be. theirs a hot water pipe that circulates for the heater usually blocks up, disconnecting it and running an air line through it will solve your problem. mind you check the car over i have heard renaults not the most reliable cars in the world.

I cant find the plug guys, its a smc pump. i removed the back plastic cover to reveal two rusty screws. Also to update the boiler kettles and then the thermostat cuts it out. So i cant actually find a plug on the pump.

So before i remove the plug shall i isolate it using the two stop cocks on either end of the pump?? Cheers
