Is it now completely dead ?? Have you tried the mains Fuse ?? If not that, Door Switch, On/Off Switch, Door wiring or timer, Check in that order. Hope this helps

Don't take the back off !!! Just lean it back and you'll see it, Some of these hoovers have 2 pumps, one for circulating the water and the other for draining. Worth checking them both, but remember to dissconnect it from the mains first

You could make a small circuit that incorporated a Transistor and a timer and use the signal that goes to the PIR relay to activact the transistor which in turn would switch on the Pump for the pre determind time. if you need any help on this, give me a shout.

Most likely the heater has failed, common problem Not an expensive repair, an engineer will charge you in the region on £60 to repair it, unless you call out Merloni (indesit) then you will be looking at around £100. If you have access to a multimeter you can test this for yourself...

Yep, the 995 has no release button, you pull it out till it stops, then one hand each side and give it a good tug and it will come out.

The air trap is blocked, it's a bit of a pain to do yourself so I would fully reccomend you get an engineer in. We charge about £45 to do this. If you really do want the instructions to do it yourself then post back and i'll tell you but you have to take out the WHOLE filter assy to do it...

You don't need to earth it !!!! What you need to do is get a hampster and put a dynamo on it's wheel and connect the 2 wires to the dynamo. Bit noisey, but will do the job :lol:

You don't need to change it, you can get a connecter from B&Q or the likes and just join the hoses together.
