    You can buy auto air vents to replace manual vent in your radiator, but you should really find out where all this air is coming from.

    Hi MK2F boiler doesn't have a pcb as such, it is only a board with tracks on it unless it is showing signs of burnt out tracks forget the idea of changeing it. This boiler model has a large plug in relay which is probably your problem.

    If you read my post i've said cap off fire but leave fire fitted to bbu, and a radiator cover is not boxing it in as long as it is big enough to satisfy requirements in regard to fire it is no different to a fire gaurd.

    The original post said could i cap off the fire and put a cover over it, if the fire was capped off from gas supply but still fitted to boiler and covered by a radiator cover there wouldn't be a problem.

    Sounds like you have Yorkshire female iron fittings, if you can cut through the copper pipe just below the fittings yuo can get compression swivel tap connectors, these are longer than the fittings you have.

    Gas fire forms part of secondary flue, so cannot be removed. Ventilation is required for both appliances ie BBU & Fire. Any open flued appliance can spill carbon monoxide into room not only back boiler. Examples being Gas fires not fitted to bbu,s, water heaters, Decorative fuel effect...

    You should have instructions with your new 3 port valve showing which port goes to heating and which port goes to hot water and that is how you should have fitted it even if they are marked different from the Honewell valve.

    Has your plumber checked the rest of your system?. Sounds like you have a circulation problem ie pump not running, air in system etc.

    Sounds like you have a syphonic pan, did it used to fill up then suck down and raise to normal level? If this is how it used to work then you have replaced with wrong type of syphon unit.

    You can buy waste pipe elbows in what is called M&F which has collar one end and spigot the other.

    Would have thought that if there are any companys which do this, it would cost more than replacing it. You could maybe repair it fro behind rim with car filler/fibre glass etc. How about a claim on house insurance?.

    Don't know that make of m/valve but sounds like a 3 port valve. If it was a Honeywell 3 port valve and with the rest of the controls you say you have you would be using HW on HW off and CH on terminals of your programmer. the Honewell valve is a spring return valve with a lever on the side...
