    Unvented cylinder output

40 degrees is cold??? I set the thermostatic thing to 40 and it is red hot???! In normal conditions would you expect it to provide enough water to adequately use a big shower head maybe 20cm sq?

    Unvented cylinder output

Hi all Please excuse my ignorance - Hypothetically, 20l/min from cold main, into unvented, what can you expect to come out a thermostatic mixer shower? I mean once the water is mixed to reduce temperature to 40degrees so will have both hot and cold.

    New combi sizing - overspecced??!

Agile - last questions and then I'm done I promise..... If you get two different readings for flow at two different mains appliances on a 15mm feed is it valid to use the higher one as an indicator of what is available for a uv? Assuming of course my installer runs a dedicated feed to it...

Also what did you mean by two wires between them? I'm assuming it's nothing I need to worry about but interested to know what you meant?

    New combi sizing - overspecced??!

Yep. Currently comes in front door goes under house to back left corner and then goes up to tanks in loft and out the back from there. The only plumbing I have is kitchen in back left corner ground floor, boiler, dishwasher, washing machine downstairs shower and outside tap within 3 metres of...

But I want to get 3 quotes on what I've decided rather than keep swaying with the wind. Is it easier/cheaper/quicker to install the uv in the same room as the boiler itself?

    New combi sizing - overspecced??!

What i wouldn't want though Tony is someone to turn up and just spec a brand new road to u bend system of the biggest baddest stuff and a repipe of the entire house in 100mm pipe! There just needs to be a good better best set of options at different price points with clear benefits and...

And if that designer was to take offer guaranteed output measures at different appliances and be accountable if they weren't what was needed I think people would definitely pay it

    New combi sizing - overspecced??!

And that's the thing tony I look at my 11 vs minimum 22 and think that's £3000 spent and I know it's half of what I need at the outset! I saw you went somewhere recently where an unvented was put in on a 12l flow and you said was totally unsuitable!

    New combi sizing - overspecced??!

You know what tony? I would do that I think. As a service time and effort wise what would that price be? Because no one has offered and no one has even suggested it. And in reality it's the job I'm tryin to do now with Jack all knowledge so it's a service I need and would pay for I think...

    New combi sizing - overspecced??!

Absolutely tony and I have got no idea! I guess what I'm looking for is a definitive answer on what I can have and 50%of qualified people insist I have and 50% of people insist I haven't. That's why I guess I feel like it's my job to work it out as none of those people will care if one or...

    New combi sizing - overspecced??!

Cheers tony. The guy I had measured 3.5 bar at outside tap when it was open fully if that helps? Starting to think the kitchen tap is not an accurate reading but that was measured at 11with 1 bar restriction
