    AlertMe System?

No, I have it on a static IP and the one time the internet did fail, it switched straight to GPRS. Also, what's your point about the home automation? I don't think the AlertMe system is the best out there, but from what you have said, I can't see any fundamental problems with it either.

    AlertMe System?

Indeed, that's why I got it. Why is that a bad thing?

    AlertMe System?

I thought this would be the general reply, but why? Just curious to know why it's not doing things properly?

    Conservatory Power Question

Even though it's plugged into an indoor socket? Am I not effectively creating a 4 way switched extension lead?

    Conservatory Power Question

Probably very little, maybe a couple of lamps. There is a heater in there already plugged in, not sure whether we would use it. Would it be wrong to add another socket from the current socket? Just so it's in a more convenient position. (i.e. wired from the back of the current socket to a...

    Conservatory Power Question

We recently moved into a new house and there is a socket in the conservatory but this is wired into a 13a plug which is plugged into the kitchen socket. Is this a really wrong way of doing things? Effectively it's just an extension lead with a normal socket is it not? Thanks in advance.
