    As this chap has said, theres a good reason as to why its going out. Get a CORGI guy in, and if he knows his stuff he should be able to sort the problem out. Theres more to just an LFE, nowadays. :) Dave.

    Lead tends to melt, with heat!!! in the wrong hands. "don't do it". As previously said, get rid of it, and replace with copper. :shock:

    Combination, not sure what you mean. Turn boiler off, press reset button, turn on again, and call for heat. Tell us what happens. Dave.

    Like wise i have fitted 1 CXI, and yes easy to fit, but im going on fault finding, on the older models. I have found,,, well the ones iv worked on have numerous, inconsistent faults occurring. When iv spoke to tech people, there non the wiser. Maybe its me and Glowworm that just don't...

    If i think hard there is some truth in that, i used to work for one such firm. They shall remain nameless, but the stuff this guy has done beggars belive, and all he seems to get is a slap on the risk and told to correct it. More money for Corgi in registrations, comes to mind.
