Not sure if this is the correct terminology, but around the top and sides of all the walls appears to be some tape 1" wide that is coming off in small areas. What is this? and can i take them off or simply stick them back down? Many thanks

    Sliding gate

As there is already a 240V Supply why not take advantage and have a tilt activated switch to fry the thieves? But they are not deterred that easily as i have heard of stories lately of SS exhaust being stolen from cars. - I remember it took me and a mate 4 hours to fit an exhaust...

    Internal Glass Wall

Thanks for the info! Unfortunately there is no loft shop close to me, living in Wales! What would be a rough price to get this installed? I could do the internal ceiling fittings etc, i would just need it fitted around the roof tile, which scares the hell out of me evening thinking about it...

    Best gravel for driveways..?

20mm Angular golden flint is what i used on mine, works well, it does tend to stick to the tyres a bit when it's wet, but they fall off straight away, i sometimes have to kick a few stones back on, but nothing major

Cutting off the edge of a worktop (in situ).

Did you know you can get laminate repair kits, could be easier to do this. We had someone come out for a demo on our kitchen units that were scratched before we moved in and you can't tell they were there, and they were deep cuts, it's like modern day french polishers!

Hi all, i am going to stud and plasterboard our integral garage this year, leaving enough room at the front to open the garage door and use that space for storage - bikes etc. Do i have to membrane the floor where the room will be or will that already by taken care of when the house was built...
