    It's leaking from the wash pump seal, it will eventually seize up or leak enough to trigger anti flood switch.

    Your symptoms would suggest the flow meter/reed switch which is located left bottom of the side tank with the two grey wires on it.

    Is it not a really tight fit hence why it won't go on. We are talking about the retaining band that keeps the seal in place to the cabinet.
