    You only get what you pay for but i can say that i have fitted a lot of Biasi boilers with no problems..I have one in my house and in 5 years have only replaced the diaphragm that cost £5. http://www.biasi.co.uk/frameset_acro.htm

    Iron pipe with push fit

    I have always wrapped ptf tape around the olive as well because they can be a bit loose but are fine when tightened. My wife says the pink one suits me :P

    I am the instructor on that course and we teach using all the latest boilers :shock: Also watch out for the speed cameras/vans either end of the flyover :x

    Compression fittings will fit though you might have to us a 3/4 olive instead of a 22mm on the iron. 8)

    I have been around 3 zillion years to see the results of my work :D Obviously these 4 week plumbing courses don't teach you how to use it properly as i never get called back :P

    A typical gas fitters reply :shock: Take no notice and use plumbers mate like a proper plumber would :D It's less messy and you can have a bath straight away !
