you could still have a gas fire just use a gas vent ridge a roofer to fit the ridge but someone gas safe registered to fit the flue to the ridge tile

on most terraced huses not every house has a downpipe so next doors outlet for downpipe might be on your property technicaly so the fall on the gutter has to carry the water to yours or vice versa but if its leakiing on the join have a word with next door because the roofer should not have left...

yes ive done the standard fibreglass valleys and always cement them but these have a upstand down the centre of the valley and you cut to the upstand no cement to be used but they do look a bit ugly just wondered if any one had had any bad experiences with blockage cos dont want to go back to 90...

i dont mind fibreglass valleys but these dry ones leave no gap so there seems t me there could be a build up of leaves and such under the tiles so then you could get a build up of water under the tiles of course does away with cement which is always a good thing this time of year anlead is more...

no this is not the case all thats required is a support for the perlin carrying the roof this could be simply joining another perlin onto the existing and bolting into place

looks to me like its the valley leaking if it is 20 years old prob just need old lead out and newlead in if rest of roof isnt leaking dont worry but do get quote for renewed valley

your the customer and if it looks fine t yo and thats what you want go back to the contractor and explain this what your saying sounds pretty simple to me and if the roofer is going to bed plain tiles on this is not right a picture might help
