    airflow which is being created is not going into roof space as as it should be so what i meant was airflow not required in floor joists and as it isnt going into roof space and creating no problems simply stop it going into floor joists using solid soffit would do this

    soloution is simple the soffit vents are not required so replace soffit with solid soffit and not vented no airflow (which is not required) no draft also insulate sofft when replacing it ths would almost certainly fix the prob p.s silicone seal where soffit butts wall to stop drafts blowing up

    something of that size you could form yourself 4x2 timber and a measure twice cut once rule dont think you would get trusses for a porch 4.5m wide by 1.8m spar length much cheaper to do it yourself or get a joiner in someroofes would do it to included in roof price

    as last post take out botom 2-3 rows of tiles and battens buy felt support trays (can be bought at most builders merchants )that will do away with the ply and the dpc then replace felt and battens and put existing tiles back on alot easier than it sounds to be honest but would advise scaffold...

    that will definatley leak my friend no shadow of a doubt you need a length of lead underneath the velux flashing that should extend down the roof to the water mark on the tiles undr velux 9 inch lead should be sufficient (do not pay buildertill this is done it will leak i guarentee it) :shock:
