    completly agree with redherring however you can also get dryverge units which fit most types of concrete tiles but if you have a weather board on gable end none of these would be an option as the weather board sits on top of the tiles if weather board on joiners responsibility if no weathe board...

    i it looks to me like there is no lead underneath the copping stones on gable end i i would reccomend taking of the copping stones and put lead underneath or make sure the slates overhang gable end by approx 50mm then put copping stones back on my bet is the slates dont have any overhang cost...

    i would advise putting in new soakers up the wall or even better take out tiles fit grp fibre glass abutment flashing and re-tile this could be done pretty easily and should take no more than half a day possible cost £200 max no more than that i should think

    un advise putting rosmary tils on a pitch any les than 22degree most tiles will not go any less than ths there is a tile we use in cumbria call a argyl this is made by russell roof tiles ltd this tile goes on at 17degrees hope this helps
