So far, I cannot see any signs of a bleeding valve on those 2 radiators... I will inspect them thoroughly in daylight this week-end... I wonder, if I only bleed the loft shower room towel rail radiators, will it solve the other 2 radiators as well?

Thanks for the thought provoking questions! Yes, both valves for each radiators - 3 in all, one of which is in the shower room in the loft - are opened. The radiators are connected to first and ground floor central heating system. The radiators now seem to work but are cold FOR MOST PARTS...

Thanks guys!! Seems that this is normal, so will switch back to the 40W ES bulb as long as the flashing does not pose a fire hazard...?. Need to do our best for the planet after all... :)

Tryitandit FYI, The taps for the bath tub are connected to the shower mixer system where the shower hose is originates from. The shower mixer system is fixed to a tiled wall. My guess is the 2 pipework is connected somehow and involves a valve that automatically diverts to bath taps when...
