more than likely to be the diapharm your low water pressure switch only tells you when u have no pressure in ur CH system, low water pressure switch wouldnt have any effect on what ur describing

i put a rad in one a few weeks ago and was alot bigger job than i first thought. main problem was gettin pipes through wall into it as customer had woodflooring. they were surface aswell(wouldnt want that in my house) i wouldnt see a problem if you can get under floors.

Defo ur sensors , change them urself you dont need to drain as they are clip on now:)

sounds like Ur pipework between HW and CH is connected at some point. did it just start to happen when you changed boiler?

Yeah Ch sensor would do this.

ch sensor is prob cause of ON OFF ON OFF

change them before you even look at plate h/ex could save u a small fortune

i had one like this and couldnt work it out, it would sometime take ages to light on HW and when it did light would go out intermittantly after changing Div valve i changed the flowswitch and not had ne problems

is ur APS making? check that before you look at IGN PCB

SCRAP THE BOILER??? are you having a laugh, anybody who says that about any boiler that isnt ID shoudnt be working with gas. - because it sounds like they dont have a clue! It dont matter what make of boiler or what the fault is - there is always a solution. i hate seeing people slating...
