Ok fist of all if your pump is pumping back to the top pipe of the boiler turn it back round. are you including the gas pipe in the 4 pipes?

It's a new board i'm afraid, but the new one's come with a complete wiring loom witch you have to use. not dirricult to replace, the board should cost around £140.00 + vat .

In normal operation can you have central heating on its own without having hot water ?

have you tryed balancing the system, ie turning the closest one to the boiler down etc

Is it a fully pumped system?

When you say the power bord has tripped, in what way, ?

It may soud daft but is there a dripping hot water tap.

is the pump running ?

If your rad has a plug at the oposite side to the bleed then slowly unscrew to get rid of any air.
