    Wierd weather you have there. I have worked up in sweaty-sock land and all insrstallations have a drain cock for CH and for DHW cylinders external. Bloody fantastic. And it if cooooold up there. They also have the vent for cylinders out onto the roof = no dead kids in bedrooms...

    Think about yankee-doodle-dandy friend. Mains pressure is usually about 3 bar. Gas is 20mb. TWENTY THOUSANTHS OF A BAR. Don't need a whole lot of holding in, do it?

    Got a job on in bosley near macc over coming months. If you want to come and give a hand and possibly learn something ;) you're welcome to tag along, mostly weekends. All copper installation, lpg combi boiler and ch system, solvent waste, underground drainage to poo eater, wetroom, kitchen...

    I can think of many reasons it wont work. First yourwashing machine fill pipe wont make a seal in the t you are suggesting. You don't really need many more reasons than that.... :twisted:
