    Core Drill C'ock up...

You can make a 150mm duct fit a core cut 152mm hole but you have to be accurate/lucky. Try using the core bit to rub against the point which the pipe binded. You could try putting the pipe in the freezer to make it smaller...

Insulated render - anyone used this?

Yes. For stone properties where a breathable outer finish is needed, they don't all need this, a wood or stone fiber batt would be best. This can be rendered with a breathable render through coloured or suitable paint. These cork renders are not breathable at such thicknessess anyway I would not...

Insulated render - anyone used this?

What would be the point in that? You'd be better off with ewi which would give you a much better uvalue for the same thickness and it would be cheaper.

    Soakaway with storage option?

Using grey water is great but it ain't cheap in the short or long run for domestic properties. Tank, pump and plumbing will be around £4k, you'll still need a soakaway. You'll find there is a build up in sludge in your main tank, header tank and in your toilet system/washing machine so expect...

Insulated render - anyone used this?

Thing is unless you go for ewi where there is a desent thickness >50mm it's not going to make a great deal of difference. I'd imagine the price difference in render would not make financial sense either.

    Is Mot type 1 permeable?

Really you should use a 'clean' without fines aggregate. If compacted well mot1 will cause standing water. If you have mot1/crusher run to use up, go for it. If you are buying stuff in, pay a little bit more and get the correct graded material.

    Exterior, pumped and interior insulation

If you're rendering anyway i would go for external wall insulation, helps with airtightness, don't have to worry about thermal bridging etc. Internal is cheaper lower skill set.
