    Venting cloakroom and small ensuite

for air to egress from the space, it must have an ability to draw in air to replace it or it stands still. Ensure you address that issue or whatever you do will be meaningless

    Rad not heating up!

Todays reading....air being vented...pressure dropping on circuit

    Rad not heating up!

Here is an example. Rads on lower floor not working, all other floors (4 above) all working fine. Expectation is that pressure at the end of the line (22mm main) is insufficient to provide pressure suggesting the need for an additional pump. I created a connection point at the end of the...

    Rad not heating up!

Radiators need a pressure differential across them to instigate flow. Have you checked the pressure on flow/return...? Next is circuit flow i.e. does the water want to flow into the rad or continue to bypass it? Close couple Tees, water brake, pipes sizes..all effect it Next is air lock or air...

New Plug In Induction Hob Tripping Electrics Occasionally

I have had an induction hob for around 4 months now. I had the first 3 of them replaced within a week of each other so this is the fourth one. The option with a plug has very limited capability and requires a change on the default setting if you want to hard wire. I opted for hard wire from the...

    flow - return differential temperature

we seem to be back to free radicals and molecular chemistry once again LOL.

    flow - return differential temperature

not with my setup. I can isolate and drain each rad individually whilst maintaining the circuit. It takes maybe an hour per rad to drain, remove, flush and replace. Keeps the system in good order

    flow - return differential temperature

I remove radiators every other year (rolling yearly programe) and flush them through so as never to allow accumulation to be an issue. It also address the pH (in that I don't have to address it) and it allows me to add citric acid which continually cleans the heat exchanger It never allows the...

    flow - return differential temperature

flow 64 degrees return 35 degrees Outdoor temp is reading 24 degrees (so that's wrong) exhaust temp is 35 degrees fan speed required and detected are the same PWM of the fan seems low @ 39 (range is 0-1023)

    flow - return differential temperature

so the energy is being lost in hydrogen production...at 58 degrees C and 1.5bar pressure....should I pattent this process?

    flow - return differential temperature

Heating season is now underway and going through tests and checks for the season The heating return is showing a differential of 20 degrees from the flow side and some rads are just not heating at all. (system is drained down each year) with such a large differential, where is the heat going if...

    Plastic gas pipe to boiler!

    Plastic gas pipe to boiler!

averge temp of house fire far exceeds the melting point of solder and the autoignition temp of methene. So how does your logic of "low temperature" work? Are you quare?

    One radiator not heating up

hydrogen gas collects in the system....LOL....how many quarks are in their? what happens when the cosmic rays travel through the radiator? Answers on a phd thesis please

    One radiator not heating up

so it does have flow so you have eliminated the debris and valves. So now you are considering the volume flowing through so first you need to determine the pressure at inlet and outlet. A cheap pressure guage and a few push fir bits will enable you to do this.
