    You might be better replacing your programmer with a programable room stat. This will allow you to specify what times and what temperatures you want throughout that day; say you want the temp to be 16c at night and 20c after work and only say 12c when your not in. Different settings can be set...

    Is the trv of the offending radiator obstructed in anyway? Their needs to be airflow around the head for it to work right, are curtains, furniture etc getting in the way of that?

    Why don't you just turn the boiler down to half way, worst that happens it that it doesn't work. Then guess what, you can turn it back up to full where it doesn't work anyway!!!!

    You got a picture? Bigger rad gives out more heat (of course) and can lead to better efficiency too.

    quick question on copper pipe - it is all the same or not?

    I know yorkshire do 22mm in hard and normal half hard, of course anyone can anneal a pipe before bending it. Copper also gets harder to bend the more you work it, putting multiple bends in close secession with make the next bend a little harder. Not that its that noticeable tbh.

    So do you need an electrician to wire in a 2 wire room stat? Bullshit, As long as your not touching the gas "side" then its fine. A combi boiler is an appliance that consumes gas, its is not a gas fitting.

    You really need a 28-35kw boiler if you want faster hot water delivery. WB do these too.
