Is the water definately coming from the feed? Has the waste frozen outside? Maybe worth checking. Unless it's been happening through the warmer months too.
Hi, I'll be purchasing a makita core drill soon, and just wondered if anyone could recommend a decent core drilling piece set to go with it? For drilling flue holes right down to 1 1/4 inch waste.
Thanks in advance.
it's usually just as easy to drain down as you have a sealed system so not much chance of air locks when filling back up. If you have a towel rad you can pour inhibitor in the top of that after taking bleed valve off. Or buy the stuff you can inject via filling loop.
If you need a hand i'm in...
I currently have a makita drill/driver set which im very happy with. So would like to stay with the makita brand. I'm after a decent sds drill 230/240v with a clutch and hammer option. Would be used for the bigger jobs ie coring for flues/waste etc.
Any recommendations please?

Just to clear this up, as it's obviusly a massive issue that bears loads of relevance to the shower issue. The friend is actually a an old work colleague.
Phew...feels like a massive weight has been removed from my shoulders!
