Hi, any copper pipes laid in concrete should be WELL protected. The concrete will slowly but surely corrode the pipe. Pipes should be thoroughly wrapped in some sort of lagging before buried in concrete.

was the controller a like for like swap? Is motorised valve on correct way round?

if you get the fluid master, it might be worth going for the brass shanked version. Less chance of any cross threading issues.

As said already. Undo the blue nut and make sure the little pin is where it should be.

it'd be best to replace square wsall bracket too. You should find it is similar/same shape anyway.

Ah, I see. Not too sure about old valve.... But I'm pretty sure it was a balancing valve I removed. i have it somewhere so can check and get back to you.
