you can use a standard dimmer just change one module fixed load on/off

get a 2 gang dimmer swap 1 out for a fixed load module

take the connection from the reds and connect to the blacks that have the sleeve on them the reds stay on there own block just looked photo not to clear that is the black + brown with the sleeve on

hi as spark 123 said post a pic what you seem to have done is put your permanent lives in to one light as you have one light permanent on and one light switching take the reds out of the perm light and replace it with the feed that switches the second light the reds you took out...

i think i have read my copy of the 14th more in the last few months than i did when it was relevant. like you secure i think of a new reg and think what was required way back when

yes (R1+R2) piggy back n+e just looked at the instructions pef use all 3 leads for psc i would have thought n+e together but it shows all 3 leads but this is for testing 3 phase the instuctions do not show connections for a single phase test
