When wiring a kitchen: 1. Cooker on its own circuit.
2. Fixed goods ie fridge, cooker hood, dishwasher, etc
3. Sockets
Can 2 and 3 be on a radial together or is it a better idea to have 2 seperate radials
Can't tell yet. I have so far asuumed that the earth is run from the same armour but I will be able to explore further next week. Can you explain how Zs/Ze is measured ie. the actual process that the meter goes through.
To clarify, the SWA comes into the kitchen, enters a double HRC arrangement and a pair of tails exit each HRC, one pair enters the meter and the other pair runs up the wall through the ceiling off to the other flat.
If the supply comes in to the flat in question (flat 1) and the supply including the earth (TN-S) goes off to another flat (flat2). How can one measure Zs and Ze without causing any problems for flat 2
Same with ours. All the internal stud walls are easily moved. Infact since the frame went up we have decided to rearrange some of the rooms. It seems to me that both styles of timberframe house are equally far removed from traditional masonry
It is a standard timber frame, 4 bed chalet style bungalow. Panel frame with large roof truss structure and 5 dormers. This is my first self build.

Will I need to continue to use conduit in the ceiling void or...
