    Im not bragging TBF thats a bit harsh, If the stuff they used is the 1950s is so good why dont they still use it, my guess would be yeah its hard but in turn this will make it brittle to movement, plus i guess its not as breathable as the modern renders :lol:

    You can get it for as cheap as £8.50 + VAT as far as cost is concerned K-Rend and other "monocouche" renders can be applied and finished a lot quicker than s&c render (time is money) I would say it only cost about 15-20% more than s&c and painting, and finally K-Rend is a far superior product...

    John you can put k-rend on with a trowel (hand applied) but cannot trowel finish it, it needs rubbing up with a special nail float.
