    Anyone know French drill bits?

    I have a set of 5 French drill bits (Tivoly) numbered 4, 5, 6, 8, 10. Does anyone know what these are supposed to correspond to in mm or in fractions of inches? The packaging is of no help, it only talks about lengths.

    Plastic anchors, fasteners in concrete?

    Ok, so I also have these. They're #8-12, the anchors need a 5/16" drill bit and are 1-5/8" long, and the screw size is #10 x 2.5" Would that be better? Maybe take the #10 screw from this set and the plugs from the #6-10 set?

    I think this is one of those things where we unfortunately lean towards ridiculous US measurements. I'm from a part of Canada that is almost entirely metric but some commercial things/products historically tended towards American systems because they were the products being imported before...
