Can anyone give me an idea of what i should expect to pay for parts and labour of a bonded oil tank, a condensor boiler, control pipe for underfloor heating manifold, all copper piping ,waste and traps and fitting of bathroom with basin loo and bath with shower over, en suite with 1200 shower...

Hi Hotrod The building inspector would not let me put the insulation between the batterns as this would leave a cold spot on the batterns ?? so this is the way he insisting i am doing it, house is a nightmare hate it at minute. yes builder is using an SDS :D

Am faced with another small problem . Does any one have any pointers as to attach the 60mill insulation to the batterns and then attach the plaster board ,I was hoping to fine some kind of purpose made screw with washer or plaster board screw with bigger head ? I rang the building inspector to...

Right well i hope i have got this right have today ordered 37 8x4 sheets of Kingspan/celotex insulation TP10 60 mm . builder has had to batten out with 3x2 wood to get around wonky walls and then be covered with plaster board . :)

this is sorted now . I was having trouble insuring the property whilst being rennovated unoccupied etc . managed to find one in the end for a reasonable price too

Having trouble getting rennovation insurance anyone recommend a company ? Thanks

Tbh the house isn't damp anymore i have lowered the floors inside and the underfloor heating is in and screeded . my mate who is a groundworker has lowered the ground outside and lowered the drains . it says on the structural thingy that the house is built on stone but as he dug the floors out...

Question number 2 lol After being advised i got a damp proof guy in who suggested i have an osmosis wire installed then deciding i would get another price quote got another company in that do not do osmosis wire and have said it doesn't work and have advised that they would chemically inject...
