Flow Temp Rising Too Quickly - Fix?

I meant the guage on the filter. There is an arrow pointing to a yellow line and it is near the end of it. Pressure gauge is fine. Stays in the green just above 1.

Flow Temp Rising Too Quickly - Fix?

Thanks for the responses. I am not new to the property. All radiators are on and working fine with TRVs. I bled them all yesterday and no air came out of them. However, I just bled that filter thing and some air came out. Not loads but some. The valves there are open - presumably would have to...

Flow Temp Rising Too Quickly - Fix?

No, those are not present. I do have one of these and I see it might need something doing with it? Relevant to the problem?

Flow Temp Rising Too Quickly - Fix?

Good question, I've never looked at this before. It is a combi and I have the tap water temperature set to 44C. I just ran the hot tap in the bathroom and the boiler went up to 58C and then settled down to 53C as hot tap was running.

Flow Temp Rising Too Quickly - Fix?

Increase pump head setting? I've put it from 1 to 2 (out of 4), same thing happening: Flow temperature overshooting.

Flow Temp Rising Too Quickly - Fix?

Hello, Worcester Greenstar 25i combi. Flow temp set to 53C. It rises above this when central heating is on, by up to 5C and the boiler has registered D4 341 error (temp rising too fast). I've run the air purge mode and it is now in auto for this. Still happening. Boiler is in eco mode, is...

Worcester Greenstar - Air Purge Mode

I gather from earlier tinkering that air purge mode being ON means the boiler is in that mode only and won't do anything else. So the question is whether I should have this mode set to AUTO or OFF? I noticed that switching the boiler off and on didn't seem to result in an air purge. Also... I...

Worcester Greenstar - Air Purge Mode

Hello! I've noticed for a while that my Greenstar 25i combi has been over shooting the set flow temperature by a few degrees, sometimes up to 5 degrees but just assumed it was normal. Just discovered whilst fiddling about that there are errors registered in the system (d4 341). So it needs an...

    House Extension - Builder Questions...

50K will include electrician and plumber. Possibly windows. Those are being done by other people. He might take a bit longer than 12 weeks since he is doing the rest on his own. Maybe he gets paid in cash at times on other jobs, I don't know. As long as it doesn't affect me I don't care. What...

    Windows and building control...

Cool, thanks. It's fine because the windows will be part of an extension that is subject to building regs.

    Windows and building control...

What I mean is, can windows be dealt with through a building certificate if a fitter isn't fensa or otherwise registered?

    House Extension - Builder Questions...

Hi all, I'm getting my house extended and now have planning permission. I know a guy who is experienced, competent and trustworthy who has given me a good quote for doing the build. He is in his 50s, a good brick layer and all rounder. He isn't VAT registered, in fact he isn't even a...

    Windows and building control...

If my old man fits windows for me but isn't FENSA or otherwise registered, is it still the the case that building control can approve the windows if I lump the windows in with building certificate works I'm getting done at the same time? Thanks

Roofer replaced roof but no building control

I have had my roof retiled, etc in the past 18 months and probably a third of the properties around here have in the past couple of years, by all different roofers. I can tell you now that not a single one has had a building certificate - none of the home owners or roofers themselves will even...

Question mark or right angle soil pipe?

Floor isn't an option. Soil pipe goes horizontally to the side of the toilet and through an external side wall.
