Thanks for all your comments guys. I've found out the part to be replaced is an Aqua Sensor. Is £120 reasonable for fitting and cost of part? Thanks, Paul

I'm not entirely sure. But can switches be this expensive? I'm guessing its a switch that allows hot water to switch from the rads to the taps since we have heating but no hot water through the taps/showers. I'm not sure.

Hi there, I've recently had trouble with my valiant boiler. The radiators are hot but no hot water is supplied through the taps/shower. I've had a plumber come and look at this and he has diagnosed a faulty switch. He's charging me £120 to replace this switch. Is this reasonable? Thanks...
